Katechizm Soboru Trydenckiego. Dzieje powstania i znaczenie
Reroń, Tadeusz (Sosnowieckie Seminarium Duchowne, 2005)
The Council of Trent (1545-1563) in answer to the needs of its time expressed its will of editing a catechism for the whole Catholic Church. The reason for it was not only the low moral level of both lay Catholics and clergy (together with lacking knowledge of faith), but also the challenge of the Reformers’ teaching. The Roman Catechism was not an abbreviation nor a clarification of the Council teaching. It was supposed to be a popular book on dogmatics for clergy. It served in formation of seminarians and brought practical counsels for those who preached and taught in the Church. The Catechism served for about four and a half century as a unified norm of faith. In 1992 it was replaced by the Catechism of the Catholic Church.

Wobec człowieka umierającego. Refleksja na kanwie wypowiedzi Jana Pawła II
Orzeszyna, Jan (Sosnowieckie Seminarium Duchowne, 2005)
Nowadays live of people who are serious ill and dying is exposing for different threats. Symptom of these threats is among other things inhumanity treatment them and also neglect or plainly entire reject, which even could lead to euthanasia. Person, who fight with death, need close to each other above all somebody, who love him. Formerly dying man was usually surrounded by his family, in atmosphere of silent concentration and Christian hope, today this person often stay in crowded and noisy wards under control by doctors and staff, who are mostly interested in biophysical aspect of illness. More and more death is seized only in medical category, what is felt more as a lack of careful for complicated situation of suffering person. On this important things, which concern human live problems, paid attention John Paul II. We could say that his teaching is signed by care of the man, and especially of the man who weak, suffer and need help. Above all he takes care of the man who is in terminal condition.

Ecclesia ‒ communio personarum w myśli Jana Pawła II
Napiórkowski, Andrzej A. (Sosnowieckie Seminarium Duchowne, 2005)
The article proposes conceiving the Church as a community of people, as it clearly results as from the earlier cardoon’s Karol Wojtyła idea, as later from his teaching, but as the Bishop of Rome. It seems that placing individual (singularnesses) over communitness in the philosophical way took dawn only K. Wojtyła, that later already as the pope ‒ in the theological-pastoral light ‒ to discover the communitness of the human person first of all with the divine person and with the second person. At last the Church is the amatory (love) community of persons which is built by the sacrament and office, with a special regard of Eucharist as a source and a center of church communion. Among its own considerations John Paul II. The meaning of many places dedicates to the marriage and the family as to the fundamental principle of the Church communion. The meaning of communion is, according John Paul II, wide because gains not only the ecumenical dimension within the limits of all, seeking of the unity, Christianities or else even the dimension of communion of interreligions dialogue, but references to communion of the all human family as a general community of the salvation, because all we are children the same Holly Father the Creator of all things and all people.

Powołanie i powinności moralne nauczyciela w świetle wypowiedzi Jana Pawła II
Kuglin, Danuta (Sosnowieckie Seminarium Duchowne, 2005)
The education is process which in consequence of continuous improvement is to conduct the youth to the full of the human nature. This is the basic aspects of the work of every teacher. However every teacher, realizing the programme of the instruction of its own subject, is simultaneously the medium of broadcasting the values, attitudes desired by every community and in the same time is the defender of each student’s rights. One can, however, observe the occurrence of the escape from the responsibility for the proper education of young people. The reason of that is on one hand, the conviction that the most important in the process of education is realization of the didactic programme. And on the other hand, more and more common thing is the functional approach to the education. The teacher often focuses on the preparation of their students for their particular social assignments. In stead the student should be acquired with possibility of the development of all the spheres of the individuality, should learn how properly realize individual needs and needs of others. He or she should acquire the skills which could enable the student to maintain and realize the way of life. All these concerning problems of concerning the teacher were close to the pope John Paul II. In his shepherd's instruction he played a lot of attention to sacrifice of the teacher’s vocation, the teacher’s moral duties, as well as his responsibility for the remittance of the truth and the process of the education.

Podstawy filozofii Boga Karola Wojtyły-Jana Pawła II
Kowalski, Wojciech (Sosnowieckie Seminarium Duchowne, 2005)
Between 1949-1951 Rev. Karol Wojtyła preached the cycle of lectures entitled: About Cognizableness and the Cognition of God. Even though over fifty years have passed, there are many present plots in those considerations which have found their own creative continuations in the philosophical reflection of Pope John Paul II, especially in his encyclical Fides et ratio. This article is an attempt to demonstrate some of them: particularly concerning the sapiential and metaphysical dimensions of the philosophical reflection, epistemological realism, and the relationship between the philosophical and theological recognition of God. “Faith and reason are like two wings on which the human spirit rises to the contemplation of truth; and God has placed in the human heart a desire to know the truth ‒ in a word, to know himself ‒ so that, by knowing and loving God, men and women may also come to the fullness of truth about themselves”.

Jan Paweł II o nowej ewangelizacji Europy
Kowalski, Jan (Sosnowieckie Seminarium Duchowne, 2005)
The Pontificate of the Pope John Paul was signified with care of unity of the Word and unity of the Europe. According to him fundamental for this unity is the faith in the one and the same Christ, Gospel and Church. Identity of the Europe can not be understood without the Christianity. Europe civilisation its culture and economic development grown out of the Christianity and there are its roots. That is why unity of the Europe should be build in every rage on Christianity. Unfortunately, according to the Pope, at the beginning of the third milenium Europe reject Christian heritage. There are even attempts to exclude religious and Christian heritage from Europe culture. That is why Pope teaches about New Evangelisation of the Europe as a neccesarity. His is mission of the Church In the Europe to proclaim Jesus Christ His Resurrection and Love which should unite all people and all nations.

Sposoby otrzymywania ludzkich komórek macierzystych. Aspekt moralny
Koss, Grzegorz (Sosnowieckie Seminarium Duchowne, 2005)
Stem cells are unique cell populations with the ability to undergo both unlimited self-renewal and differentiation. These properties draw scientists' attention and result in developing of stem cell research. It offers great promise for new methods of treating disease. Scientists hope to find ways of using stem cells to repair damaged tissue. In order to achieve success they need to have access to cells derived from human body. Human stem cells can be isolated from embryos, fetal tissue, umbilical cord blood and postnatal tissue. Each method has its own scientific value, but moral questions connected with obtaining stem cells cannot be ignored. Such documents as the encyclical letter Evangelium vitae by Pope John Paul II, speeches of the Holy Father on bioethical issues, instruction Donum vitae issued by the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith, Charter for Health Care Workers prepared by Pontifical Council for Pastoral Assistance, or Declaration on the Production and the Scientific and Therapeutic Use of Human Embryonic Stem Cells published by Pontifical Academy for Life confirm that only if the human dignity is respected are scientific procedures morally acceptable. The article shows different ways of stem cell derivation from humans and presents their moral evaluation. First the basics about structure and function of human body and the most important facts about stem cells are presented. Then the methods of obtaining stem cells are analysed from the moral point of view. Moral analysis permits to formulate evaluation of the methods.

Problem niepełnosprawności w nauczaniu Jana Pawła II
Koral, Jarosław (Sosnowieckie Seminarium Duchowne, 2005)
During the period of several years the attempt to the disabled has changed a lot. The change was enabled by progress in medicine, psychology and pedagogy. Catholic Church’s attempt in general and especially the Pope’s attempt to disabled people also changed during these years. John Paul’s teaching discusses the issue of disability for many times. Analyzing the teaching it is clear that the Pope understands the situation of disabled people and cares about them. John Paul II calls for closer cooperation between disabled and healthy people because as the Church teaches “every human being is the way of the Church” John Paul is convinced that the disabled are called to show the world what is a true love, joy and holiness through their witness of disability.

Stach-Hejosz, Magdalena (Sosnowieckie Seminarium Duchowne, 2005)
These days women are interested in taking part in different fields of human existence. The research suggest that reasons for taking up a job by women are not only economic but also social. This is simply the need to contact with others. Furthermore it is a job which brings a lot of satisfaction and is a motivating factor to develop your personality. Over the last several years women's role has changed. Earlier taking care only about family life now they devote themselves to making a career. This roles, as a mother, wife and worker, do not exclude each other. Combining them all is a task for every woman nowadays. This task, though difficult, is possible. We should look for solutions which let women, according to their predispositions and nature, combine family and career.

Góralczyk, Paweł (Sosnowieckie Seminarium Duchowne, 2005)
At roots of every education theory and every educational practice there is an idea of man and thus at the roots of the Christian education theory and Christian practice there is the Christian idea of man. It states first of all what man is like and what man should be like. Therefore, this idea of man describes the field which makes up the object of educational endeavors and sketches the ideal which makes up their crown. Education is first of all a process, often very expensive and prolonged. The goal of the process is to give to a pupil authentic human and God values, and to prepare a youth to take up his life vocation responsibly. An important task for the Christian pedagogy is to create conditions needed for a youth to experience the sense of his own existence in devoting himself to God and neighbors by the basic choice of faith and moral values that this faith confirm.

Znaczenie zasady solidarności w życiu społecznym w 25. rocznicę powstania NSZZ „Solidarność”
Borutka, Tadeusz (Sosnowieckie Seminarium Duchowne, 2005)
Solidarity, together with common good and mutual assistance, belongs to the principles of social life. “Solidarity” as a concept means consistency in action and objectives as well as mutual support. The concept of solidarity, which is a basic requirement of human and supernatural brotherhood, belongs to these sense of Christian life. The concept of solidarity was adopted in 1980 by NSZZ “Solidarność” A huge contribution to the development of Polish “Solidarność” was brought by people of faith. It is generally acknowledged that two prominent shepherds of the Catholic Church, namely the Holy Father John Paul 13 and the Primate of Poland cardinal Stefan Wyszyński made a creative contribution to the cause of “Solidarność” “Solidarność” was from the very beginning a thoroughly Christian movement and the virtue of solidarity is an inalienable element of Catholic social teaching.
