Krakow’s bishops had in this region Principality of Siewierz. After Poland had been divided, the territory of dioceses was divided too. The part of these regions belonged to diocese of Wroclaw. Then that territory was seperated from the capitol of diocese of Kraków. From 1882 that region belonged to diocese of Kielce. Pius XI (bulla: „Vixdum Poloniae Unitas” ‒ 28.X.1925) divided it among diocese of Kraków, diocese of Kielce and diocese of Częstochowa. The configuration of the parishes was changed too. Pope's words have earned a very important message for all working people but it seems that they are specially valuable for new Sosnowiec Diocese. This is so, because in this part of our country people are marked with special experience of work during last decades and in our new situation on this field most problems emerges. The article is focused on four relations connecting reality of work with God. other people, personal self-development and environment. These relations show not only economical or political but foremost ethical aspects of work and this dimension should become one of the goals of special pastoral care.Pozycja Warunki naturalne i człowiek na obszarze diecezji sosnowieckiejModrzejewski, Piotr; Szczypek, Tadeusz (Sosnowieckie Seminarium Duchowne, 1993)In the paper the location of diocese against a background of province’s boundaries (Fig. 1) has been presented and the geologic structure (Fig. 2) and connected with its the configuration of land have been described. One of its causes is undoubtedly the crisis of human and religious values which has been greatly imfluenced by the present social and cultural situation. However, there are also some positive elements and circumstances, which foster the pastoral work for vocations. These elements should become the point of departure for effective activities aiming at the increase of vacations. They should be the base which would help educators make the youth aware of human and religious values included in the Decalogue. They should also help the youth grow in the spiritual lives. The means to foster the growth of spiritual life are: the Eucharist, Sacrament of Reconciliation, meditation on the Word of God, individual and communal prayer, spiritual direction and asceticism.Pozycja Duchowieństwo diecezji sosnowieckiejOrzeszyna, Jan (Sosnowieckie Seminarium Duchowne, 1993)Pozycja Wątek patriotyczny w malarstwie ściennym katedry Wniebowzięcia Najświętszej Maryi Panny w SosnowcuNowobilski, Józef Andrzej (Sosnowieckie Seminarium Duchowne, 1993)Pozycja Charyzmat księdza Bosko darem dla Kościoła sosnowieckiegoKempiak, Ryszard (Sosnowieckie Seminarium Duchowne, 1993)Pozycja Ioannes Paulus Episcopus Servus Servorum Dei ad perpetuam rei memoriam [bulla „Totus Tuus Poloniae populus”]Jan Paweł II (Sosnowieckie Seminarium Duchowne, 1993)Pozycja Program duszpasterski pierwszego biskupa sosnowieckiego (na podstawie pierwszych Jego wypowiedzi)Borutka, Tadeusz (Sosnowieckie Seminarium Duchowne, 1993)Pozycja Powołanie do życia diecezji sosnowieckiej i jej początkiBorutka, Tadeusz (Sosnowieckie Seminarium Duchowne, 1993)Pope John Paul II expressing his care for the good of the Church in Poland, by means of the bull „Totus Tuus Poloniae populus” issued on March 25, 1992 reorganized the dioceses and church provinces in Poland.
