Tłumaczenie streszczenia / Translated by Tadeusz Karłowicz. The study of students of Polish origin coming from the countries of the former USSR who study in Poland was supposed to show the specificity of the process of acculturation in the sphere of religious values, constituting the most sensitive layer of symbolic culture (expressed by: the attitude towards belief in God, a sense of approaching or becoming distant from the Church and the Catholic congregation, a change in religious practices and experiencing a crisis of religious values connected with it), as well as to give the answer to the question of conditions that define the course of this process, considering it in terms of a positive or negative solution. To collect the data a review was used, the sample being 110 subjects (Ukraine - 39%, Byelorussia - 26%, Lithuania - 18%, Kazakhstan - 13%, Russia and other countries - 4%). The condition for qualifying a person to the study was his/her declaration of his/her Polish origin. The results of the study show a frequent experience of a crisis of religious values in the youths of Polish origin. About 75% students had to reinterpret their religious values under the influence of experiences they had during their stay in Poland. Directing this process to approaching God and the Church in Poland was conditioned by a number of factors occurring before and during the students’ stay abroad.plAttribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivs 3.0 Polandhttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/3.0/pl/emigracjaakulturacjawartości religijnestudenci obcokrajowcywartościwiaraBógwiara w BogastudenciPolskaZSRRstosunek wobec wiarystosunek wobec wiary w Bogastudenci polskiego pochodzeniaemigrationacculturationreligious valuesforeign studentsvaluesfaithGodfaith in GodstudentsPolandattitude towards faithattitude towards faith in Godstudents of Polish originreligiareligionkulturacultureUSSRpostawaattitudepostawa religijnareligious attitudesZwiązek Socjalistycznych Republik RadzieckichSoviet UnionZmiana stosunku wobec wiary w Boga u studentów polskiego pochodzenia z krajów byłego ZSRR podczas pobytu w PolsceThe Change of Attitude Towards Belief in God in Students of Polish Origin From the Countries of the Former Soviet Union During Their Stay in PolandArticle
