Some demand a new approach to Catholic morality regarding marriage and the family. Some also claim there is a clash between secular and Christian civilizations diverging over the issue of sexuality and the attitude to human life. Undoubtedly, such conflict-provoking situations require an adequate vision of man. One, with man as an integrated person, was put forward by Karol Wojtyła and introduced into the Church and worldwide debate by Pope John Paul II. A theological vision of the person determines the philosophy of love, the dynamic character of interpersonal relations and assessment of human sexual behaviour. John Paul II was aware that marriage and the family are a battlefield for the shape of future society and, going even further, for the position of God in human life. His theology of the person and human love has solid ontological and theological foundations and is aimed at pastoral care.plCC-BY-SA - Uznanie autorstwa - Na tych samych warunkachteologia relacji miłosnychteologia seksualnościrelacje miłosneseksualnośćteologiaJan Paweł IIKarol Wojtyłamiłośćnauczanie papieskienauczanie Jana Pawła IIfilozofiasobór watykański IIrodzinamałżeństwoOsoba i czynmetafizyka miłościseksualność – sakrament Bogacielesnośćteologia ciałateologia ciała Jana Pawła IItheology of love relationshipstheology of sexualitylove relationshipssexualitytheologyJohn Paul IIlovepope’s teachingJohn Paul II’s teachingphilosophySecond Vatican CouncilVatican IIfamilymarriagemetaphysics of lovesexuality – sacrament of Godcorporealitytheology of the bodyJohn Paul II’s theology of the bodyTeologia relacji miłosnych i seksualności w ujęciu św.
