In operation from 1768–1772, this was an armed association of Polish nobles established at the fortress of Bar in Podolia on 29 February 1768. Father Jandowicz’s literary output includes numerous letters, writings and instructions. He is traditionally regarded as the author of several prayers for Bar Confederates, the most important of which is the rhymed prophetic poem Wieszczba dla Polski (Prophecy for Poland) also known as Proroctwa ks. Marka (Father Marek’s Predictions). As well as those, the Carmelite monk also wrote over a dozen letters and blessings, which originated after 1777.plCC-BY-SA - Uznanie autorstwa - Na tych samych warunkachMarek JandowiczXVIII w.karmelicikonfederacja barskahistoriadziałalność duszpasterskaduszpasterstwoSłowo BożemodlitwaojczyznaPolskaPieśń konfederatów barskichkonfederaci barscydziałalność patriotycznapatriotyzmCarmelitesBar Confederationhistorypastoral activitiespastoral careministryWord of GodprayerhomelandPolandSong of the Bar ConfederatesBar Confederatespatriotic activitiespatriotismKrzyż mi jest tarczą, a zbawienie łupem – Marek Jandowicz O.
