I show some similarity and differences in Christian impassive understanding between those two theology traditions. At firstly I describe the nearest horizon of meaning of Christian impassive in Methodist and Orthodox theology. The issue of Christian impassive is described in eastern theology as theosis and western theology as theology of sanctification. The second part presents the idea of Christian impassive in example of the Orthodox apatheia and the Methodist perfection in love.
