This is why the Church defines it as “the centre of Christian families’ liturgical life” Also the parish church is a priviledged place of celebration, especially of the Sunday Eucharist and the other holy sacraments. On the basis of the Church’s current teaching and of the pertaining literature the author first shows in the article the close connection between the Church, the parish and the liturgy, and then discusses the celebration of liturgy of all the sacraments and Liturgy of the Hours in the parish and their significance for building the parish community and the consciousness of its members as part of the particular and universal Church.plAttribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivs 3.0 Polandhttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/3.0/pl/parafieliturgiasakramentywspólnotaLiturgia Godzinteologiateologia pastoralnanabożeństwaformacjaformacja liturgicznaparishesliturgysacramentscommunityLiturgy of Hourstheologyreligious servicesformationliturgical formationpastoral theologyżycie liturgiczneliturgical lifeParafia ośrodkiem życia liturgicznegoParish as the Centre of Liturgical LifeArticle
