Dzik, Marek2025-08-272025-08-272009Resovia Sacra, 2009, Tom 16, s. 23-44.1234-8880https://theo-logos.pl/handle/123456789/35000The article “Saint Paul – the missionary as shown in the Acts of the Apostles” is divided into 3 parts: the missionary doctrine (of Saint Paul), the missionary tactics (of Saint Paul), the person of Saint Paul. In the first part, the author analyses the teaching of Saint Paul directed to the Jews, the pagans and Jesus’ disciples. The comparison between the teaching of the Jews and the teaching of the pagans is particularly interesting. The author notices no significant difference between them with the exception of one point. At the beginning Saint Paul teaches the pagans about one God rather than about Jesus Christ. When he teaches the Jews he speaks about Jesus directly, often trying to prove his God’s dignity basing on the Old Testament. The common topics are: the resurrection of Christ, his theological titles, the necessity of faith in Jesus Christ and the need for repentance and penance. In second part, the author presents the missionary tactics of Saint Paul; priority of the Jews before the pagans because salvation is from the Jews; the evangelization of the territories where earlier there were no another apostles, the evangelization of the main business und civilization centers.
