Chaim, Władysław2025-08-292025-08-292015Resovia Sacra, 2015, Tom 22, s. 45-69.1234-8880https://theo-logos.pl/handle/123456789/35338The article presents the test results among young Catholic priests (The Diocese of Rzeszow) using the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator and the SIFT method of biblical hermeneutics and liturgical preaching. A sample of 54 young parish vicars completed a measure of psychological type. Then they read Mark 1, 29-39 and recorded their evaluations of the four ref ections on this pasage derived from the SIFT method. Part of these (N=28) read also a healing story from Mark 9, 14-29 and then chose between interpretive statements designed to appeal to particular psychological preferences. In the context of preaching workshop four groups cluster together dominant sensing types, dominant intuitive types, dominant feeling types, and dominant thinking types developed homilies consistent with their dominant psychological-type preferences.
