In an attempt to offer a systematic approach to the issue, four topics marking consecutive stages of the analysis have been considered: 1) Introductory comments on the historical and theological context of the Transfiguration, 2) The Transfiguration as Jesus’ revelation to the disciples – an event of supernatural and transcendental nature, 3) The Transfiguration from the point of view of salvation history, perceived as Jesus’ “Exodus” and the announcement of the messianic era, and 4) The Transfiguration from the ecclesial perspective. The analysis of the papal instruction demonstrates the Transfiguration as a key event in the terrestrial history and activities of Jesus Christ, one that guides us into the depth of His mystery.plCC-BY-SA - Uznanie autorstwa - Na tych samych warunkachPrzemienienie na Górze Taborprzemienienie ChrystusaBenedykt XVIJoseph RatzingerteologiaJezus z NazaretuchrystologiaeklezjologiaKościółhistoria zbawieniazbawienietranscendentny charakter przemienienia Chrystusanadprzyrodzony charakter przemienienia ChrystusaBibliaPismo ŚwięteNowy TestamentgóraGóra Taborteofania„Exodus” Jezusaepoka mesjańskaTransfiguration on Mount Tabortransfiguration of ChristBenedict XVItheologyJesus of NazarethChristologyecclesiologyChurchhistory of salvationsalvationtranscendent nature of the Transfiguration of Christsupernatural nature of the Transfiguration of ChristBibleNew TestamentmountainMount Tabortheophany‟Exodus” of Jesusmessianic eraPrzemienienie Jezusa Chrystusa w ujęciu Benedykta XVIThe Transfiguration of Jesus Christ from Benedict XVI’s PerspectiveArticle
