Bowne's (1847-1910). In three chapters the author describes their way of understanding the reality, the world which we experience and a person. This is a presentation of characteristic features exist three American personalists: B.P. Bowne, E.S Brightmana (1884-1953), R.T. Flewelling (1871-1960). These thinkers were looking for „the best” philosophy, which should oppose to atheism, materialism, sensualism and also, generally speaking, philosophical schools questioning the value of metaphysics.
