It is not enough to believe that Jesus lived and died on the cross. The Resurrection is therefore of fundamental importance to Christianity. Thanks to the resurrection and the power flows from it, defenceless Christianity was able to face up to Judaism and other ancient religions. It could also, engage in a polemic with pagan philosophies, oppose Roman authorities, plots, judgments and endure many persecutions. Getting to know the truth about the Lord’s Resurrection is the key to the Christian vision of the world. Christianity lasted, was moving forward, and will continue until the end of the world by the power of the resurrected Christ. Without faith in the Resurrection, Christianity would cease to be a religion and would be reduced to mere ideology. If Christ had not risen from the dead, he would have been counted among the many preachers who preach the end of the world, remaining only and exclusively the human being. Therefore, faith in the Resurrection is the most essential thing to the Christian religious life. Because, the faith establishes it the final direction.Bez wiary w zmartwychwstanie Jezusa Chrystusa chrześcijaństwo nie ma żadnego sensu. Nie wystarczy wierzyć, że Jezus żył i umarł na krzyżu. Zmartwychwstanie posiada fundamentalne znaczenie dla chrześcijaństwa. Dzięki zmartwychwstaniu i wypływającej z niego mocy bezbronne chrześcijaństwo mogło stawić czoła judaizmowi i innym starożytnym religiom. Mogło też podjąć polemikę z pogańskimi filozofiami, przeciwstawić rzymskim władzom, spiskom, wyrokom i znieść wieki prześladowań. Poznanie prawdy o zmartwychwstaniu Pańskim jest kluczem do chrześcijańskiej wizji świata. Chrześcijaństwo trwało, rozwijało się i trwać będzie, aż do skończenia świata, mocą Chrystusa zmartwychwstałego. Bez wiary w zmartwychwstanie chrześcijaństwo przestałoby być religią, a zostałoby sprowadzone do zwykłej ideologii. Gdyby Chrystus nie powstał z martwych, zostałby zaliczony w poczet licznych kaznodziejów głoszących koniec świata, postrzegany tylko i wyłącznie jako człowiek. Dlatego wiara w zmartwychwstanie jest najistotniejszą kwestią dla chrześcijańskiego życia religijnego.
