As far as Paul VI’s encyclicals are concemed, his only social encyclical Populorum progresie, released in 1967, is worth reading. John Paul II refers to this encyclical and strongly emphasizes its significance in Sollicitudo rei socialis, which is our subject of interest. The main subject of the mentioned papal documents is human, his dignity, role and significance in the contemporary world.plAttribution 3.0 Polandhttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/3.0/pl/teologia pastoralnateologiaSollicitudo rei socialisPopulorum progressioencyklika społecznaencyklikadokumenty KościołapapieżekapłaniduchowieństwoJan Paweł IIKarol WojtyłaJan XXIIIPaweł VItło historycznehistoriapastoral theologytheologyencyclicJohn Paul IIJohn XXIIIPaul VIhistorical backgroundhistorysobór watykański IIsobórVatican IISecond Vatican CouncilcouncilpopesclergypriesthoodTło historyczne encykliki „Sollicitudo rei socialis”Historical background of the encyclical „Sollicitudo rei socialis”Article
