The problems of this catechesis concentrate most of all on the possibilities of systematic development of adult’s faith and their active engagement in the Church’s activity. This article presents the idea of adult catechesis prepared by The 1st Opole Diocese Synod working in years 2002-2005. Not only has it shown and justified the need of adult catechesis but also depicted various opportunities to realize this catechesis in the form of pastoral catechesis in the parish.
