Then it takes into account the passages from the New Testament that refer to the Mother of Jesus. The whole article is crowned by referring to the post-conciliar leaching of the Magisterium of the Church, which implies a call to honor the Mother of God. The Second Vatican Council justifying the cult of Mary, also lists the four elements that describe the nature of this cult: I. Honor ‒ because she is the Mother of God; 2. Love ‒ she is also our Mother; 3. Invocation and petition ‒ since her intercession is effective; 4. Imitation ‒ because as a saint she is a model lor the Church. In the Council’s interpretation there are four aspects (foundations) presented to justify the cult of Mary (I.
