Tire new situation, brought about by this fact, poses new tasks to Christianity. In order to responsibly take them up and effectively fulfil the Church should engage herself in a certain kind of “integral ecumenia”. Searching after unity is meant here which comes from innerchurch unity embraces and introduces within its circle the socio-political and interreligious reality.
