It is seen through the specific High Priest’s vestments, having particular functions. An expression of Priest’s dignity is a special blessing. These elements are presented in the context of biblical Judaism. The difference of the dignity and the High Priest’s function of Jesus Christ is presented by two groups of texts from Heb. The groups are build with two terms common with the LXX, ἀρχιερεὺς and ἱερεύς, both having a new theological connotation.polCC-BY - Uznanie autorstwaJezus Chrystus ArcykapłankapłaniszatybłogosławieństwoJezus ChrystusSeptuagintaLXXtekst masoreckiarcykapłanistrój kapłańskistrój arcykapłańskifunkcje stroju arcykapłańskiegoἀρχιερεύςἱερεύςBibliaPismo ŚwięteNowy Testamentbiblistykaegzegezaegzegeza biblijnateologiateologia biblijnaanaliza egzegetycznafilologiafilologia biblijnaanaliza filologicznaList do Hebrajczykówterminologia biblijnaterminologia Strego Testamentuposługa arcykapłanarola arcykapłanabłogosławieństwo kapłańskieStary TestamentJesus Christ the High PriestpriestsvestmentsblessingJesus ChristSeptuagintMasoretic Texthigh priestspriestly attirehigh priestly attirefunctions of high priestly attireBibleNew Testamentbiblical studiesexegesisbiblical exegesistheologybiblical theologyexegetical analysisphilologybiblical philologyphilological analysisLetter to the Hebrewsbiblical terminologyOld Testament terminologyhigh priestly ministryhigh priestly rolepriestly blessingOld TestamentJezus Chrystus ArcykapłanJesus Christ the High PriestArticle
