This is an attempt at a new approach to the teaching of John Paul II about man. According to this anthropology, man is seen as a creature in the image of God ‒ the Holy Trinity. In addition, the essay refers to theology of the body and human sexuality. These topics are developed more deeply in the context of the truth about human dignity. The article consists of the following topics: 1. Man created in the image of God ‒ the Holy Trinity; 2. The new theology of the body in the official teaching of the Church; 3. References to human dignity. In conclusion, the author states that Pope John Paul II consistently emphasized the importance of man as an image of God. In this importance, he saw the foundation of human dignity. From this perspective, he emphasized the integrity of the body and soul, and in the two genders of humans, he saw a moment of realization of the image of the Union of People ‒ the Holy Trinity.polCC-BY-SA - Uznanie autorstwa - Na tych samych warunkachimago Deiczłowiek jako imago DeiJan Paweł IIKarol Wojtyłanauczanie papieskieBógTrójca Świętaczłowieknauczanie Jana Pawła IIstworzenie człowiekaKsięga RodzajuStary TestamentBibliaPismo Święteteologiaantropologiamężczyznakobietateologia ciałaMagisterium Kościołateologia ciała Jana Pawła IIgodność człowiekasobór watykański IIman as imago DeiJohn Paul IIpapal teachingGodHoly TrinityhumanJohn Paul II’s teachingcreation of manBook of GenesisOld TestamentBibletheologyanthropologymanwomantheology of the bodyMagisterium of the ChurchJohn Paul II’s theology of the bodyhuman dignitySecond Vatican CouncilVatican IINowe ujęcie myśli Jana Pawła II o człowieku stworzonym na obraz BożyA New Approach to John Paul II’s Thinking on Man’s Creation in the Image of GodArticle
