Besides typically church-related and religious subjects, it also addressed such issues as education and teaching. More specifically, it became a forum for the higher members of the clergy on which they expressed their opinions on teaching and education. Due to scarcity of other historical sources, as the majority of them were damaged during the Second World War, the Roman Catholic diocese of Lutsk Monthly has become an interesting source depicting the history of education in the Volhynia region during the interwar period.W latach 1926-1939 z inicjatywy ks. biskupa Adolfa Szelążka ukazywać zaczął się „Miesięcznik Diecezjalny Łucki”. Oprócz spraw typowo kościelnych i religijnych, w swej treści poruszał także zagadnienia związane z oświatą i szkolnictwem. Szczególnie istotny tu jest głos hierarchii kościelnej w kwestiach nauczania i wychowania.
