The phenomenon of the deterministic chaos and the deterministic structure of space-time (disclosed by general relativity) are taken into account. They impose strong limitations on the deterministic character of classical physics. It turns out that there is no determinism the nature of which could be a priori established, but the deterministic or indeterministic character of a given physical theory is encoded in its mathematical structure.
