Each departure of a clergyman knew the pain for the Church, but it is the Church, for which the highest good is salus animarum, that undertakes deep refections to regulate the state of life of the person deprived of this state after the departure. This article summarizes and discusses doctrinal texts of three different procedures (1964, 1971, 1980).
