In these debates the important role is played by the question: Can the existence of moral evil and human suffering be reconciled in one consistent system with the thesis of the existence of omnipotent and benevolent God? The authors who answer this question negatively claim that deep inconsistencies are contained in traditional theism and one cannot regard the theistic interpretation as rational. Reconstructing Plantinga’s argument of the so called transworld depravity, the argument presented in God, Freedom and Evil, I point out groundlessness of traditional attempts at calling in question the rationality of classical theism.plAttribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivs 3.0 Polandhttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/3.0/pl/Alvin Plantingafilozofiateizmteizm chrześcijańskibiografiaracjonalność teizmuwolna wolazłophilosophytheismChristian theismbiographyrationality of theismfree willevilwolawillracjonalnośćrationalityRacjonalność teizmu chrześcijańskiego w ujęciu Alvina PlantingiThe Rationality of Christian Theism According to Alvin PlantingaArticle
