Reading the Bible as well as works by masters of spiritual life and the biographies of saints is considered an important means of sanctification available to everyone. It is commonly known that the intellectual and spiritual development of a person is impossible without devotional reading. A study of carefully selected texts on faith can illuminate the mind with truth and ignite the heart with love for God.
