The reflection about this is very important, especially in front of wrong behaviour many young people. This is why it should be showed the right source of proper directions about bringing up the children. One of them is the Book of Sirah, which is a part of the Old Testament. This means, that the Book of Sirah as God’s revelation, contains His Word, which is the truth. In this context, this Book could be very helpful to show some aspects of parent’s dignity as educators. A very accurate analysis of some sentences about this subject and included at this source shows, that children should show signs of reverence and respect belonged to their parents. First of all, the Book of Sirah gives a general encouragement to this. Children should show respect to their parents in order that to receive God’s blessing. Of course, there are some concrete forms of this, such a serving to them, listening to, compassion, not to despise them. These forms of reverence might bring good results for a child. For example: wipe of many sins, real joy and a long life. More over, it also will help to live in sexual purity.
