The ontological dimension is defined as being-according-to-the-Spirit (Holy Spirit), while the moral dimension is described by the phrase: “They intent on the things of the Spirit”. Having received their existence from the Spirit, Christians do not rest on merely possessing this divine gift, but actualize it in their lives. The actualization of the gift cannot be, however, a self-actualization. On the contrary, it must be a cooperation with the Holy Spirit for this Him who, at first, inspires to morally proper actions and, then, who assists in their completion. Hence, even though the Holy Spirit is for the faithful the source and foundation of their new existence, He does not limit His saving function only to that. Rather, having bestowed the new existential dignity on Christians, He inspires them to morally acceptable actions and supports them in their execution.plCC-BY-NC-SA - Uznanie autorstwa - Użycie niekomercyjne - Na tych samych warunkachDuch Świętychrześcijaniechrześcijaństwomoralnośćdziałania moralneList do Rzymianlisty św.
