In the study D. Beckmann and H. E. Richter’s Giessen Test (GT) as well as Z. Gaś’s Family Profile (PR) were used. The study results show: Young people from families with alcoholic disease differ significantly from their coevals as far as the social resonance, social abilities and the basic mood are concerned; on the other hand they do not show any differences with respect to dominance, openness and control. Alcoholic families are characterized by a lesser compactness, adaptiveness and understanding; and by greater developmental difficulties, de-organization and easiness of assuming family roles than families functioning correctly.plAttribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivs 3.0 Polandhttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/3.0/pl/rodzinaalkoholobraz siebiedzieci alkoholikówdorosłe dzieci alkoholikówalkoholizmdziecidoroślinauki o rodzinieuzależnienieuzależnieniużywkisocjologiapsychologiaalkoholicyosobowośćfamilyalcoholimage of oneselfadult children of alcoholicschildren of alcoholicsalcoholismchildrenadultsfamily studiesaddictionaddictsdrugssociologypersonalityalcoholicspsychologyPercepcja siebie i rodziny u dorosłych dzieci alkoholikówSelf-Perception and Perception of the Family in Adult Children of AlcoholicsArticle
