The causes of problems for modern families include, among others, deteriorating economic conditions, i.e. high unemployment rate, low salary, an increase in both the cost of living and education. Another threat leading to the disintegration of the family is the severity of pathological phenomena e.g. alcoholism, drug addiction, domestic violence, and crime.
