The article deals with scientific relation between psychotherapy and religiousness. According the most mental health professionals, therapists cannot avoid in their practice, personal values, also religious values. Generally spiritual and especially religious values can make many important contribution to psychotherapy for the therapist and for the patients. The therapist should be aware of their own related values, the patients has the right to know what ethical and religious values the therapist has, what is the therapist’s identity.
