The paradigm for this eschatology is St Stephen’s vision of Christ during his martyr’s death (Acts 7:55–56). The best example of Eucharistic eschatology is the Gospel of St Luke, where the Eucharist is firmly tied with the reality of the Kingdom of God. After Christ’s resurrection each Eucharist constitutes participation in the eschatological feast in which the Master of Heaven and Earth serves the participants and gives Himself as nourishment. The very eternity is the Eucharist fulfilled.Artykuł przedstawia historiozbawczy model eschatologii, w którym paruzja postrzegana jest nie tylko ostateczne przyjście Jezusa Chrystusa, ale też jako „objawienie – ἀποκάλυψις [apokalypsis]” i „ukazanie – ἐπιφάνεια [epiphaneia]”. Ten model eschatologii wyrasta z Objawienia Bożego w Piśmie Świętym i pozwala właściwie pojmować eschatologię czasów apostolskich jako eschatologię eucharystyczną. Paradygmatem tej eschatologii jest wizja Chrystusa, jaką miał św. Szczepan w chwili swej męczeńskiej śmierci (Dz 7, 55-56). Najlepszym przykładem eschatologii eucharystycznej jest Ewangelia św. Łukasza, gdzie Eucharystia powiązana jest mocno z rzeczywistością Królestwa Bożego. Po zmartwychwstaniu Chrystusa każda Eucharystia jest udziałem w eschatologicznej uczcie, podczas której Pan Nieba i Ziemi usługuje, dając siebie jako pokarm.
