It is a place of hope too. In Purgatory, the temporary suffering is permeated with joy, because the soul is aware that after the experience of purgation in Purgatory it will be with God in heaven (visio beatifica). This truth has remained unchanged since the beginning of the Church. It is already mentioned in the Bible. This article presents the truth about Purgatory based on the Bible and the Church’s teaching before and after the Second Vatican Council.plCC-BY-SA - Uznanie autorstwa - Na tych samych warunkachczyściecnauczanie Kościoładoświadczenie Kościołaczyściec w doświadczeniu Kościołaczyściec w nauczaniu Kościołasprawiedliwośćmiłosierdziecierpienieradość duszradośćduszaBibliaPismo ŚwięteStary TestamentNowy Testamentczyściec w Bibliiczyściec w literaturze międzytestamentalnejliteratura międzytestamentalnasobór watykański IInauczanie posoborowe Kościołanauczanie posoborowenauczanie przedsoborowe Kościołanauczanie przedsoboroweprzedsoborowe nauczanie Kościoła o czyśćcuposoborowe nauczanie Kościoła o czyśćcuPurgatoryChurch teachingexperience of the ChurchPurgatory in the experience of the ChurchPurgatory in the teaching of the Churchjusticemercysufferingjoy of soulsjoysoulBibleOld TestamentNew TestamentPurgatory in the BiblePurgatory in intertestamental literatureintertestamental literatureSecond Vatican CouncilVatican IIpost-conciliar teaching of the Churchpost-conciliar teachingpre-conciliar teaching of the Churchpre-conciliar teaching of the Church on Purgatorypost-conciliar teaching of the Church on PurgatoryCzyściec w nauczaniu i doświadczeniu KościołaPurgatory in the Doctrine and Experience of the ChurchArticle
