The first one presents the most important forms of popular piety of the Advent and Christmas periods that should be included in catechesis, and in the second one the main issues are discussed for catechesis of the periods of Advent and Christmas on the basis of various forms of popular piety. The basis for analyzing the subject was the document of the Congregation for Divine Cult and Sacramentai Discipline issued in 2002 under the title Directory on Popular Piety and Liturgy.
