Benedict XVI believes a “hermeneutic of reform” is an alternative to a “hermeneutic of rupture”. Nevertheless, the expected “hermeneutic of reform” has received different interpretations. That’s why a relevant hermeneutic of the “hermeneutic of reform” must be applied. The author presumes that an issue of the Bible interpretation, which is in accord with the postulated by Benedict XVI “hermeneutic of faith”, is a practical expression of applying the “hermeneutic of reform”.
