As the former one, Jesus fulfills prophetic announcements not only as a King and Judge but also as a suffering servant of YHWH. The article deals with the spiritual aspect of the suffering of Christ during his public activity. There are two main verbs that carry the connotation of that kind of pain: “to hate” (miseō) and “to trouble, to upset” (tarassō) used in the passive form.
