It concentrates mainly on ancient Greek dramaturgy, which influenced the education in the humanities of a youngster in Wadowice and Cracow. The author emphasizes some important historical, cultural and spiritual events which may have determined Wojtyła’s decision to become a priest. It seems that literature and theatre making had a direct influence on his spiritual life and on his fundamental choices. The education in the humanities based on classical principles contributed to the fulfillment of the deeply Christian life of a young man called to priesthood and to a special mission in the Church.polCC-BY-ND - Uznanie autorstwa - Bez utworów zależnychKarol WojtyłaJan Paweł IIpapieżedramaturgiatragedia greckapedagogika chrześcijańskapedagogikawychowanieedukacjabiografiaJohn Paul IIpopesdramaturgyGreek tragedyChristian pedagogypedagogyupbringingeducationbiographyWychowawcza rola dramaturgii w życiu Karola WojtyłyEducational meaning of dramaturgy in Karol Wojtyła’s lifeArticle
