In its first part J. Moltmann’s theology of hope is presented. At the beginning one of the basic theses formulated by the Professor from Tübingen is explained, namely, the question of who “God of the promise” is. In the next part the connection of eschatology and history, and then the relationship between faith and hope are presented. The second part of the article is connected with the motivating valor of the hope argument that is based on Jesus’ Resurrection. Only hope considered in this aspect assumes a final meaning and becomes a credible motive for every man. Next the signs of hope and manifestations of hope in the life of particular Christians and of the Church as the “Community of Exodus” are presented. Finally the topicality of the sign of hope in the contemporary social-cultural context is shown.plAttribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivs 3.0 Polandhttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/3.0/pl/nadziejaJürgen Moltmannteologia nadzieiwiarygodność chrześcijaństwaargument sperancyjnysperancyjna wiarygodność chrześcijaństwawiarygodność sperancyjnachrześcijaństwoteologiahopetheology of hopecredibility of Christianityargument of hopeChristianitytheologywiarygodnośćcredibilitySperancyjna wiarygodność chrześcijaństwaCredibility of Christianity in the Aspect of HopeArticle
