W pierwszej części artykułu przedstawiono genezę dokumentu. W drugiej części omówiono najbardziej kontrowersyjne punkty badanego tekstu. W związku z tym zwrócono uwagę na trzy kwestie: samoświadomość Kościoła prawosławnego, stanowisko na temat eklezjalnego statusu Wspólnot nieprawosławnych oraz rozumienie ekumenicznego zaangażowania prawosławia. W trzeciej części zaprezentowano niektóre problemy na drodze recepcji analizowanego dokumentu w świecie prawosławnym. Ostatecznie stwierdzono, iż kreteński Sobór nie zdołał rozwiązać w sposób definitywny kwestii relacji Kościoła prawosławnego do innych chrześcijan, z którymi prowadzi dialog ekumeniczny i współpracuje od dziesięcioleci.In the article, its author aims at presenting the essential contents of the document of the Holy and Great Council in Crete (2016): Relations of the Orthodox Church with the Rest of the Christian World. In the first part, he presents the origin of the document very briefly. In the second part, he discusses the most controversial points of the studied text. In this context, he draws the reader’s attention towards three issues: self-consciousness of the Orthodox Church, her stand on the ecclesial status of the non-Orthodox Communities and her understanding of her ecumenical involvement. In the third part, the author presents selected problems that have appeared in reception of the analysed document in the Orthodox world.
