In spite of dominance of physics in the contemporary scientific paradigm one can distinguish many types of unphysical disciplines dealing with fundamental theoretical problems. The author analyses relationships between theoretical and practical knowledge taking into consideration principles of deductivism, inductivism, and reductionism.
