The document has a normative character for catechetic teaching. Connecting catechesis with the Catechism more profoundly practically meant that catechesis has been permeated with the thought and the spirit of the new document, it showed the principle of Christo-centrism and “faithfulness to God and man” The heritage of Catechism of the Catholic Church has been ceaselessly preached, listened to, celebrated, experienced and commented on in the Polish catechesis.
