Our article is a presentation and introduction to the “Clavis”. The following problems has been taken in consideration: 1. A hermeneutical introduction to the ancient and medieval biblical symbolism; 2. The presentation and main characteristics of the “Clavis”, 3. An analysis of a chosen fragment of the work; 4.
