Principes d’un «oecuménisme» catholique of Yves Congar was the first attempt by a Catholic theologian to take position with regard to the ecumenical movement, active in the Protestant environment. This book was published in 1937 (and never translated into Polish). It aimed at creating a doctrinal basis for the Catholic efforts in quest for the unity of Christians. The author analyses the terms used by Congar to describe the nature of this quest, the description of its point of departure and the goal of the unifying process. The paper presents the originality of Congar’s reflections, their importance for the ecumenical way made by the Catholic Church since that time, and its still valid power of inspiration.plAttribution-ShareAlike 3.0 Polandhttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/3.0/pl/ekumenizmekumenizm katolickipoczątek ekumenizmuYves CongarkatolickośćecumenismCatholic ecumenismbeginning of ecumenismCatholicismkatolicyzmteologiatheologyJak to się zaczęło?
