Accepting baptism she had to overcome manifold difficulties made by her associates. Through prayer and sacrifice she followed Christ reaching the peaks of spiritual unification with Jesus Christ in love. The way of Sister Emanuela Kalb, the daughter of the chosen people, to Christ led through difficult incidents of the “night of faith”, which included the experience of a meeting with Christ and a choice consciously made against the reluctance of her closest relatives.
