Every Christian has the power to cast out evil spirits. It stemmed from the fact that the faith in Jesus Christ and receive baptism, and was based on the power of his name. Every Christian is somehow automatically become an exorcist. The source of the power that was given to the Christians, was the victory of Jesus Christ in his paschal mystery, with particular reference to the death of the cross.
