Institute’s publishing activities were particularly repressed. The communist authorities deemed the issued materials harmful and inconsistent with the applicable law. Search and seizure of the institute’s property were done in the atmosphere of assault and forceful pacification of protestors – the faithful gathered at Jasna Góra Monastery.
