In 1982 Fr. Antoni Długosz began his service in Christian community “Betania”. Its goal is giving a helping hand to people addicted to drugs. He has cared of this community to the present times already as an auxiliary bishop of Czestochowa archdiocese. The members of “Betania” try to live according to the rules of Gospel. There are regulations and strictly defined the day timetable, including therapy, work, rest and common pray. Qualified therapists and priests helping spiritually work in this centre.
