One of the experiences is the feeling of loneliness which is presented in every day educational work of religion teachers. It may be related with a lack of support, helplessness and sometimes even with psychical exhaustion or proffessional burning out. The aim of the present article is the answer for the question: how to treat the experience of loneliness in the catechist life-as a problem or a challenge? In this connexion, first, the range of the notion “loneliness” in various investigative contexts will be described. Afterwards, the etiology of the religion teacher loneliness in catechist service will be presented. After that, kinds of loneliness and the ways of revealing them in the catechist service will be described.
