The manifestation of the Church is first done in the congregation of the baptized, which is a sacred congregation or God’s people hierarchically ordered. This congregation, that is the Church, is the subject of the liturgy. Christ, who is truly present in all the Church’s liturgical celebrations, and first of all in the sacraments, himself supports, builds, revives and unites the Church with Himself.
