From the modern point of view, the knowledge of the world Plato had at his disposal, besides being poor and sometimes naive, was substantially weakened by a strong tendency to take purely linguistic (not to say verbal) analyses for the analyses of reality. From such a stuff a world’s vision has been constructed, in too many instances anticipating modern philosophical reflections upon science and its results, to iterpret this fact as an outcome of pure chance or coincidence. A hypothesis is put forward that the penetrating Plato’s metaphysics should be made responsible for the persistant actuality of his work.plCC-BY-NC-ND - Uznanie autorstwa - Użycie niekomercyjne - Bez utworów zależnychdialog „Timaios”traktatystworzenie światamitypochodzenie światanatura świataświatfilozofiaPlatonantropocentryzmmitycznośćmetafizykaprawdopodobieństwoczasprzestrzeńwszechświatciałoduszafilozofia przyrody“Timaeus” dialoguetreatisescreation of the worldmythsorigin of the worldnature of the worldworldphilosophyPlatoanthropocentrismmythicalitymetaphysicsprobabilitytimespaceuniversebodysoulnatural philosophyTimaios – filozoficzny mit o pochodzeniu i naturze świataTimaeus – a Philosophical Myth of the Origin and Nature of the UniverseArticle
