First he examined the circumstances and the aim of proclaiming the above mentioned apostolic letters by the Holy Father, and then the Polish Pope’s reasons for expounding the teaching on sainthood. He also characterized the main motifs in this teaching. Finally he concluded that the results of the study clearly show that John Paul II was a great promoter of the idea of sainthood, and the analyzed documents may be considered a particular expression of the Pope’s involvement in the work of promoting the Church’s teaching on sainthood and of making it more profound.plAttribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivs 3.0 Polandhttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/3.0/pl/świętośćpedagogikapedagogika świętościpromocja idei świętościlisty apostolskieTertio millennio advenienteNovo millennio ineunteJan Paweł IIKarol Wojtyłapapieżedokumenty Kościołasanctitypedagogypedagogy of sainthoodsainthoodpedagogy of holinesspromotion of the idea of sainthoodApostolic LettersJohn Paul IIpopesListy apostolskie: „Tertio millennio adveniente” i „Novo millennio ineunte” jako szczególny wyraz zaangażowania się Jana Pawła II w promocję świętościApostolic Letters: ‟Tertio millennio adveniente” and ‟Novo millennio ineunte” as a Special Expression of John Paul II’s Involvement in Promoting SainthoodArticle
