This Chiwwi raped Dina, the daughter of Jacob. Simeon and Levi, sons of Jacob, outwitted and murdered Sychem and other urban dwellers. This act has different evaluations in Old Testament. It is deprecated by Jacob (Gen 49), but approved by Judith (Jdt 9). This dissimilarity of the moral appraisal can be explained by separating of aspects. None of evaluations concerns the integrate performance but only approves or disapproves some its aspect.polCC-BY-ND - Uznanie autorstwa - Bez utworów zależnychBibliaPismo ŚwięteStary TestamentKsięga RodzajuKsięga Judytypatriarchowiebiblistykaegzegezaegzegeza biblijnaBibleOld TestamentBook of GenesisBook of Judithpatriarchsbiblical studiesexegesisbiblical exegesisBiblijne oceny postępowania braci Diny w Księdze Rodzaju i Księdze JudytyBiblical evaluations of the vengeance of Dina’s brothers in Genesis and in the Book of JudithArticle
