We discuss the context in which the problem of love arises: controversy, eternal life and commandment. In our exegesis we draw attention to the fundamental confession of faith, which is the basis of the answer given by Jesus. The significance of the commandments to love God and neighbour is explained as well as the mutual connection and universal application. Finally we treat the question of the relation of the commandment to the Person of Jesus.polCC-BY-ND - Uznanie autorstwa - Bez utworów zależnychBibliaPismo ŚwięteNowy TestamentEwangeliaEwangelie synoptyczneprzykazaniamiłośćmiłość Bogamiłość bliźniegoJezus ChrystusBibleNew TestamentGospelSynoptic Gospelscommandmentslovelove of Godlove of neighbourJesus ChristPrzykazanie miłości Boga i miłości bliźniego w tradycji synoptycznejThe Commandment of Love in the Synoptic TraditionArticle
